Meter references and image credits

The photographic housings preserve the source images' wear, printing and glass reflections. The simulator replaces readings and visible moving indicators with functional canvas layers. Cutouts, scaling, register projection and optional lighting or smudge effects adapt the original photographs.

The photographs and adapted meter visuals retain the respective rights and licenses below. These credits do not imply endorsement by the photographers or manufacturers. Source files are stored locally; running the simulator does not fetch them from third-party sites.

Three supplied reference photographs

Braven supplied these images for the simulator. The original photographer and reuse license were not provided; no open-license claim is made. Original image files are preserved unchanged. The simulator isolates each housing and replaces its readings with functional drums. The blue B METERS view also replaces the pointer and six-spoke flow indicator; the loose fittings beside it are excluded from the simulated scene.

These are descriptive photo variants. The images alone do not establish an exact model, certification or use in Singapore households.

Singapore household references

PUB’s residential guide shows a compact brass 4+4 register and a white Aquadis+ 5+3 register. These guide the two Singapore layout studies. George Kent records substantial historical orders from PUB, including 323,630 meters in 2016 and 115,500 in 2018. These sources do not establish today’s market share by model.

The simulator’s Singapore variants reproduce those register layouts. Their housing sources and limits are identified below. PUB’s guide photographs are not used as textures.

Singapore white register — reconstruction

The Aquadis-style housing is an original AI-generated image made for this simulator using the built-in image generation tool. It follows the documented white household layout, with synthetic material texture, wear, printing and reflections. It is not a photograph of an installed PUB meter or a dimensionally validated replica. The simulator replaces the generated numbers and dial with working layers.

Elster brass and Singapore brass layout

The photographed meter uses 5+3 drums. The Singapore option changes it to the 4+4 layout in PUB’s brass example. This is an adaptation of an Elster housing photograph, not an exact photograph of PUB’s PSM-T. Both variants use a cutout rotated upright and replace the register beneath its narrow glass cover.

The photographed meter is installed in India. It adds a 5+2 register, two finer dials and a flow indicator; its inclusion makes no Singapore installation claim. The simulator crops and rotates the housing, replaces its readings and indicators, and clips effects to the shaped glass cover.

One photograph supplies both the blue cold-water and red hot-water variants. Each has five whole-number and three decimal drums. The face, lid and case retain the photographed appearance.

Custom drum counts are simulator variants. They do not identify actual factory configurations. All models are photo-based 2D views, with fixed photographed reflections, rather than reconstructions of unseen geometry or calibrated glass optics.
